"Amarte es un Placer" is a song by Luis Miguel, released as the fourth single from "Amarte Es Un Placer".
Controversy with the song
On May 3rd, 2007, a Mexican Judge found that Juan Carlos Calderón, Luis Miguel and the record label Warner Bros. Records were guilty of plagiarism against Mexican composer Marcos Lifshitz. After six years of trial, the court ruled that "Amarte es un Placer" was in fact an unauthorized modification of the song "Siento Nuestro Aliento" ("I Feel Our Breath") written by Lifshitz. The artist, Juan Carlos Calderón and the label have to pay royalties to the original writer. [http://www.lamusica.com]
