St. Agnes Hospital (fiction)

St. Agnes Hospital is a fictional mental institution created for MTV's Fear reality series. It was featured on Season 1, Episode 2.

The real location was attempted to be kept under wraps since local ghost hunters would surely head to the site to do their own "investigations." During filming, none of the participants were allowed to go above ground or were allowed out during the day. They were lead in to the hospital wearing black clothes over their heads.

Unfortunately, the real life location has been spilled on to the internet almost since the original air date in October 2000. "St. Agnes Hospital is really Fairfield State Hospital, situated in Newtown, Connecticut.

Over the course of two nights, a team of young adults carried out multiple dares including collecting "samples" of items, a séance, automatic writing, time alone in the morgue and a bonus dare in an attic.
