Robert John Quiney (born August 20, 1982 in Brighton, Victoria) is an Australian cricketer who is a member of the Victorian Bushrangers side. A left handed middle-order batsman, he had a more daunting debut than most in Australian domestic cricket, in October 2005 the Victorians took on the ICC World XI with a bowling lineup of Shoaib Akhtar, Shaun Pollock, Muttiah Muralitharan, Daniel Vettori and Makhaya Ntini.

During the 2007/08 season, Quiney has begun to hold down a position in all forms of the game, playing some important innings for Victoria, especially in the Ford Ranger Cup where he scored 89 not out off just 57 balls against New South Wales at the MCG followed by 78 runs off 95 balls and 65 of 76 against Tasmania in Hobart and Melbourne respectively. This hot form has lifted his career List A average above 40.

Not only does Robert, or "Bobby" as he is more affectionately known, excell on the cricket field, Bobby was once a standout footballer who dominated the square for the Ormond Amateur Football Club U/19's. A Richmond supporter, Bobby reminded all as a young Matthew Richardson.
