Henry Reed (1806-1880) was a British landowner, shipowner, merchant and philanthropist [ [http://www.adb.online.anu.edu.au/biogs/A020326b.htm Biography] ] .

In later life he moved to Royal Tunbridge Wells where he built an imposing mansion set into the beautiful grounds of Dunorlan Park designed by Robert Marnock.
