Happy Valley is a suburb of the city is Wellington and is the south west of the central city.

Happy Valley, West Coast

The name of Happy Valley on the West Coast is not officially recognised by the Geographic Naming Board. It is located approximately 10 km due east of Waimangaroa at the headwaters of the Waimangaroa River. It is currently the site of an occupation by the Save Happy Valley Campaign who are opposing the construction of an open cast coal mine in the valley.

Happy Valley, Southland

Happy Valley is located seven km due east of Tuatapere in Southland.
