=History=In 1969, Baylor University established a student organization to represent the student constituency.
Thirteen junior men and women were selected by the university's development department and by Baylor President Abner V. McCall as charter members of the Baylor University Student Foundation Steering Committee. Through the Foundation, Baylor sought to offer these students and opportunity to gain a better understanding of the university and to develop and promote leadership qualities.
