The Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA) is a professional institute for practitioners in the financial industry in
Australiaand New Zealand. FINSIA was formed in 2005by the merger of the Australasian Institute of Banking and Finance(AIBF), founded 1886and the Securities Institute of Australia(SIA), founded 1966. Brian Salteris the Institute's CEO. FINSIA has 20,000 members and 19,000 students and is one of the largest financial services organisations in the region.
