Crumlin United Football Club are a Irish football club Founded in 1967 locally known as "crumlin boys".The club is one of the biggest producers of talent in Ireland.They are linked with Nottingham Forest.There main rival is Cherry Orchard another big club in Ireland for whom Andy Reid played at schoolboy level .The club plays at pearse park (The main ground) in Crumlin, Windmill Road, Dublin 12. The club currently has teams in the Dublin District Schoolboys League and Leinster Senior League. The club is managed by Martin Loughran. Loughran is also on the Leinster Senior League committee.

FIFA registration case

The club successfully initiated a landmark appeal, to FIFA, in February 2004 in order to receive compensation for the development of Robbie Keane as a schoolboy. The case, though supported by FAI, was opposed by the FA, the Premier League and the Football League.[1] The compensation of ()126,000, by Tottenham Hotspur, enabled a new all-weather floodlit pitch to be constructed.

Honours

Crumlin won the Leinster Senior League title in June 2008, for the first time, and also]] were runners up in the Metropolitan Cup when they were defeated by Wayside Celtic, In May 2009 Crumlin won the FAI Intermediate Cup for the first time in their club history with a 3-2 win over Bluebell United.
