Kafr Qara or Kafr Qari ( _ar. كفر قرع, _he. כפר קרע) is an Israeli-Arab local council located in Israel's Haifa District 22mi southeast of the city of Haifa. It is considered part of the the triangle and the Wadi Ara region northwest of the Green Line. It is a conservative community in which most of the 14,400 inhabitants are Muslim.
