The New Trust is an Indie rock band from Santa Rosa, California. Their songs tend to be energetic and most are shorter than two and a half minutes long. Bassist/vocalist Josh Staples is married to guitarist/photographer Sara Sanger. He also played bass in The Velvet Teen until late 2006. The New Trust is currently signed to Slowdance Records.
