Henry Goldsmith

Henry Goldsmith

Henry Mills Goldsmith (July 22, 1885May 9, 1915) was a British rower who competed in the 1908 Summer Olympics.

He was a crew member of the British boat, which won the bronze medal in the eights.

Goldsmith was killed in action during the First World War, serving as a lieutenant with the Devonshire Regiment near Ypres. His remains were not recovered and his name is inscribed on the Ploegsteert Memorial nearby.
