Vivasvan

In Hindu mythology, Vivasvan or Vaivasvata (Sanskrit: वैवस्वत) (also "Vaivasvate") is the father of one of the 14 Manus, the Sraddhadeva Manu or Vaivasvata Manu [ [http://www.harekrsna.com/philosophy/incarnations/manus/manvantara.htm List of Manus] ] , who is considered the progenitor of the current Manvantara, which is the 7th of the 14 that make up the current Kalpa, each Kalpa making up a day of Brahma.
