Clintwood High School (CHS) is one of the three high schools in Dickenson County, Virginia. It is located in Clintwood, the county seat of Dickenson County.

Athletics

Football

Clintwood has won three state championships in high school football in 1974, 1975, 1978.^[2] They also went to the state championships in 2007 against Buffalo Gap, VA, but lost. They went to state again in 2008, but lost again, this time to Franklin 28-20.

Basketball

The Clintwood boy's team won two state championships in 1950 and 1951. The Clintwood girl's team has also won two state championships in 1985 and 1989.
