Robert Bourne (rower)

Robert Bourne (rower)

Robert Croft Bourne (July 15, 1888 – August 7, 1938) was a British rower who competed in the 1912 Summer Olympics.

He was the strokeman of the New College boat, which won the silver medal in the eights.

Later he would go on to be the Member of Parliament for Oxford (UK Parliament constituency), serving from 1924 until his death, precipitating a by-election for the constituency.
