Little Brington

Little Brington

Little Brington is a village in the Daventry district of the county of Northamptonshire in England.

The Macmillan Way long distance footpath passes through Little Brington.

Little Brington is notable for having a church spire but no nave. There is no recognised reason why the nave is missing, the main theories are that due to poor build quality it was destroyed in a heavy storm, the secondary theory being that in a time of particular hardship it was destroyed for the stone. The spire, at gbmapping|SP663634, is used as a landmark due to its unusual structure.
