Campbell was born in Denver, Colorado to Charles and Nateal Campbell. He was raised with 7 siblings. He has 2 sisters, Kimba and Keyonne, and 5 brothers Jamar, Raj, Ciarre, Severin and Jared. Jared is currently a redshirt freshman safety for the Miami Hurricanes, Calais' alma mater. His brothers Ciarre and Raj played college football at Colorado State and Butte Junior College, respectively. Brothers Severin and Ciarre are current University of Montana, Grizz which play defensive end and cornerback, respectively.
