Petrich municipality,Blagoevgrad Province , in southwesternBulgaria .As of 2006 it has 892 inhabitants and the mayor is Dimitar Manolev.GR|Bulgaria The village is a majorborder checkpoint on the border withGreece . The first-classEuropean route E79 and the railway fromSofia toThessaloniki pass through the village. It will be an important stop on theStruma motorway .References
