"Teen Ink" is a monthly
tabloid -format magazine which is marketed to, and written by, teenagers. It is based inNewton, Massachusetts , and published by the Young Authors Foundation, a non-profit organization. The magazine's name was originally "The 21st Century".The magazine was founded by John and Stephanie Meyer in 1989.

"Teen Ink" also prints a series of anthologies with selected writing from the magazine; they are co-published by HCI, publishers of the Chicken Soup series, and the Young Authors Foundation.

Young Authors Foundation, Inc.
The Young Authors Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization that fully supports publications by "Teen Ink." This foundation's goal is to allow teens to voice their opinions while developing reading, writing, creative and critical thinking skills. All interests collected from the print magazine, website and "Teen Ink" books are given exclusively towards charitable and educational purposes to further their goal.
