Ready Set Learn

Ready Set Learn is a preschool block that airs weekly on Discovery Kids and TLC. It airs from 6:00am-9:00am ET on TLC and from 9:00am-2:00pm ET on Discovery Kids. It was on TLC in the 1980s and 1990s but didn't have a name until 1995 when it was named Ready Set Learn. One year later in August 1996, Discovery Kids got its rights to air its morning schedule. In June 1997 and June 1998, a marathon of shows aired and by May 1999 it added a new show, Nini's Treehouse which did not concern to air now. On February 24, 2003, Ready Set Learn relaunched and added the first host of the block. In July 2004, no new shows produced except Peep and the Big Wide World Animal Jam and The Magic School Bus airs reruns. As of September 30, 2008, Ready Set Learn programs will air only on Discovery Kids; TLC will be airing repeats of their regular programming in the 6-9am ET timeslot.
