The Ibanez Apex series is a signature series of seven-string guitars created by Korn's guitarist Munky. They are the newer versions of the Ibanez K7. The Apex guitars are available in two finishes, Biker Black, and Green Shadow Flat. They come factory tuned to KoRn's signature tuning: A, D, G, C, F, A, D (low to high).

The Apex 1 has a list price of USD $2,339 and the Apex 2 lists at USD $933.32. These guitars are characterized by the deep metallic sound they produce that is well suited for Korn's musical style. At the NAMM convention in 2008, the Apex's were showcased once again with no cosmetic or hardware changes, but instead, an increase in list price. The Apex 1 now lists for USD $2399.99 ($66 increase) but the Apex 2 still lists for USD $933.32. both versions of the Apex come with a deluxe Prestige case.
