Aleksić was replaced by Nebojša Ćato (also known as Chiatto) in August 2000. They recorded their first demo in 2002 and signed with the German independent label Bandworm Records [ [ Bandworm Records Homepage - Label & Mailorder ] ] that released their debut album , Rebel Anthems, as LP and CD. Album was later re-released as cassette by Croatian label AK-47 Collective. Bandworm Records also released their second and recent LP, Black Box Recorder. [ [ Red Union - Blackbox Recorder LP ] ] Red Union has played over 130 concerts in Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, the Republic of Macedonia, Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, Netherlands, France, Belgium, Spain and Italy. Red Union's music is mostly influenced by The Clash, Stiff Little Fingers, Cock Sparrer, Newtown Neurotics, The Jam, US Bombs, Swingin' Utters etc. In 2008 band has plans for two new releases, two split seven-inch singles with the Argentine band Argies and the US streetpunk band from Boston, USM. Red Union is well known as left wing and anti-fascist band. They attribute their name to a brand of chino-pants produced by Serbia's largest textile manufacturer, Yumco. Since then Yumco has stopped producing the product, for reasons unrelated to the band. [ [ RED UNION..::::.. Fighting for what's left:::>>> ] ]
