George Payne

George Payne

George Payne was a freemason and the second Grand Master of the Premier Grand Lodge of England in 1718. In his second term as Grand Master in 1720, he wrote the "General Regulations of a Free Mason", which were printed in 1722/3 [ [http://www.freemasonrysaust.org.au/ancientregulations.html 1721 - General Regulations of a Free Mason] ] .
