Reception

The album reached position #46 on the Billboard charts. This album is widely recognized as the band's "greatest and most successful work", as well as their "breakthrough album". It includes both their biggest rock hit "Cold Blood" and their hit ballad "Don't Close Your Eyes", which made it to #11 on the Billboard Hot 100 in late 1989.
