- Ketazine process
The Ketazine process is used commercially to produce
hydrazine. It is a variation of the Raschig process, in which ammoniais oxidizedby chlorineor chloraminein the presence of aliphatic ketones, usually acetone. The resulting ketazineis then hydrolysed to hydrazine.
