The 1N5401 is a three (3) ampere axial diode with a peak repetitive reverse voltage ("V"RRM) of 100 volts. The cathode is normally denoted by a circle printed on the package body closest to that lead. Forms part of the 1N540x series (50 to 1000 volts).
