Jon F. Merz

Jon F. Merz is an American writer. Based in New England, he is the author of over a dozen novels - mostly thrillers with a supernatural bent - known for the Lawson Vampire series of novels. Prior to embarking on a full-time writing career, he served in the United States Air Force and worked for the US government and in private sector security. He splits his time between New York City and suburban Massachusetts, where he lives with his wife and two sons.

Bibliography

His first publication credit was for "I, the Courier" in Rictus Magazine, 1996. The Lawson Vampire novels were published by Pinnacle Books. His 2004 thriller, Danger-Close was published by Five Star Books and Learning Later, Living Greater was published by Sentient Publications. Also in 2004, his short story "Prisoner 392" appeared in the mass market anthology FROM THE BORDERLANDS from Warner Books.

The Lawson Vampire novels

The Lawson Vampire series focuses on a vampire "Fixer" named Lawson. The novels take place predominantly in Boston, Massachusetts, with forays into other parts of New England and the Northeast.
