The Big Leagues

The Big Leagues

"The Big Leagues" is an episode of the animated television series "Static Shock".

The Joker appears in Dakota and enlists some of Static's bigger enemies: Hotstreak, Talon, Kangorr and Shiv. Batman and Robin join forces with Static in order to defeat the Joker.

The episode begins with Ferrett committing some robberies in the market. Ferrett is saved by The Joker. When Ferrett refuses to work with the Joker, the Joker uses laughing gas, leaving Ferrett laughing. When Static investigates, he finds Ferrett in the hospital. Batman and Robin discover that the Joker has joined forces with Static's enemies, and they join up with Static. The three heroes split up and Batman gives Static a homing Batarang to reach him if he finds the villains. Batman and Robin confront Joker and his Bang Baby allies. Batman and Robin are rendered unconscious by Knockout Gas. Static saves the day, and the Joker, Hotstreak, Kangorr, Shiv and Talon go to prison.
