Baudisch reaction

The Baudisch Reaction was discovered by Baudish in 1939 and further developed by Cronheim. In the reaction a solution containing aqueous hydroxylamine hydrochloride and hydrogen peroxide reacts with benzene or phenol, with the assistance of a copper(II) ion to give "o"-nitrosophenols.
