Space Bee

Space Bee is a peruvian rock band well known for its vintage-sound, the use of Arabic melodies and violins. Its members are: Aldo Rodriguez (lead singer, guitar), Gonzalo Garcia-Sayan (keyboards, vocals), Daniel "Bongo" Ruiz (drums, vocals), Percy Omar (guitars), Eduardo Untiveros (violin), Andrés Bretel (bass). This band was formed in 2005 although the manner in which they met remains a mystery.

Its only LP, "Live in Space!", was recorded by Marcos Sanz, ex Charly Garcia's sound engineer, through a seminnary where the assistants could get to witness the whole recording process. On the 4th of October the LP, "Live in Space!" was released in a great spectacle in a Local Bar called "El Saquara".

In 2007 they reached to the top-15 in the John Peel stage for the semifinals to the Glastonbury Festival Emerging Talent Competition. In addition they had just released their only single in spanish called "Sin Mirar" (In english "Without Looking"), which is having very much success in the international area.

They have recorded two videoclips of the themes "Amuse" and "Sin Mirar". They started the year 2008 as a Soundtrack Band of the Peruvian flim Mañana te cuento 2 (In English: I'll tell you tomorrow 2).
