Castle Rushen High School is a co-educational secondary state school located in Castletown on the Isle of Man. The school is one of six secondary schools on the island, and teaches children between 11 and 19 years old. The head teacher of the school is Mrs Tomaszeska but at the moment there is a temporary head in place.

The House system

The pupils of the school are grouped into one of four houses: Bradda, Carrick, Langness and Scarlett. Houses compete in a number of events through the year ranging from sporting events such as inter-house rugby to more academic competition in the form of a merit award system for good work. There are for trophies available each year these are for: "Sport", "Merits", "Attendance" and the overall best house trophy which is awarded to the house which does best over the other three categories.
