Sydling St Nicholas

Sydling St Nicholas is a village in west Dorset, England, situated on Sydling Water, a tributary of the River Frome, about nine miles north of Dorchester. The village has a population of 401 (2001).

North of the village is the hamlet of Up Sydling.

Sydling St Nicholas once constituted a liberty, containing only the parish itself.
