British Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies

The British Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (BSECS) is an interdisciplinary group based in the United Kingdom which promotes the study of all aspects of eighteenth-century cultural history. The society organizes an annual conference, held at St Hugh's College, Oxford each January and publishes the quarterly journal "British Journal for Eighteenth-Century Studies". Its members are scholars and members of the public from all all over the world with a diverse range of interests in the history, art history, architecture, literature and culture of the eighteenth century.
