Whakatane Airport is an airport serving the township of Whakatane, New Zealand (IATA: WHKICAO: NZWK) and surrounding tourist attractions (Mount Tarawera, White Island).

It has an unusually shaped terminal, designed and built in the 1970s by Roger Walker. The airports main movements include Eagle Airways/Air New Zealand Beech 1900D aircraft to Auckland and to Wellington. The airport also houses a flight school, agricultural aircraft and commercial helicopter operations.
