Pear Media

Pear Media is a UK based media company specialising in the publication and distribution of Magazines. It is Wales' largest independent magazine publisher and distributor.

Pear Media was established by two brothers, Ed Pereira and Fed Pereira, with initially only one magazine in its portfolio. Pear Media now publishes 11 titles (including: Enterprise Magazine, Welsh Living, What Next?, Developing Business, The Trade, Catering & Hospitality, The Powerlist) and distributes the majority of magazines published in Wales (clients include: Newsquest, Northcliffe, Ladies First, Welsh National Opera, St Davids Centre, Cardiff International Arena, Chapter Arts).

In 2001 the company won the Welsh Media & Communications Company of the Year and in 2002 were awarded the Shell Livewire Significant Progress Award.

Pear Media is divided into 2 branches: Publishing (headed by Ed Pereira) and Distribution (headed by Fed Pereira). The company's head office is in Bridgend, Wales. Its main distribution centre is in Swansea.
