Jacqueline Shire is a Senior Analyst at the Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS) and a regular diavlog participant at Bloggingheads.tv. She spent eight years in the State Department's Bureau of Political Military Affairs, where she worked on defense trade, proliferation, and weapons of mass destruction. She was a member of the U.S. delegation negotiating with North Korea for two rounds of discussions in 1993.
