Realicó

Realicó is a city in the province of La Pampa, Argentina. The small farming town has a population of about 8,000. There is exactly one stoplight, and it is always blinking. A major employer of the town is the Cargill flour mill, although lately the mill supports less families as the economy becomes more services-oriented. There are three high schools, including a technical school (EPET), a business school, and a private, Catholic school. The town celebrated its centennial in 2007. There is a private English school, Centro Ensenanza de la Lengua Inglesa. Teenagers from neighboring towns flock to Realicó every Saturday night to go to El Ladrillo Disco, the most popular nightclub around.
