Musgrave, Belfast

Musgrave, Belfast

Musgrave is an electoral ward of South Belfast. It was the only new ward to be created in Belfast in 1993, although it was in reality simply a trimmed down and renamed version of the Former Finaghy ward, from which all of the electorate came. It took in almost 70% of the electorate of that ward with a new Finaghy ward being created.

The current review of Local Government in Northern Ireland has suggested renaming the ward 'Balmoral.'
