Prince Murat

Prince Murat was a title created by Emperor Napoleon I for his brother-in-law Joachim Murat who would serve as King of Naples. On the 5 December 1812 Joachim's second son Lucien was created Prince of Pontecorvo (an enclave at the Kingdom of Naples) in succession to Jean-Baptiste Jules Bernadotte by an Imperial Decree.
