Westpoint Slough is the largest of several Sloughs feeding into
Redwood Creek inSan Mateo County, California ,USA . The channel of Westpoint Slough contains considerablemudflat areas; moreover, both the marshes and mudflats offer considerable habitat area for local and migratory wildlife, especiallyavafauna .Cargill currently operates an industrial salt plant on 1433 acres adjacent to part of WestPoint Slough.
