Jane Gorry

Jane Gorry

Jane Gorry (1844-1891) was the first Queensland postulant of the Sisters of Mercy and entered the order in Brisbane at All Hallows' School in 1863.

A native of Ipswich, Sister Jane Gorry (RSM) has Houses named after her at both St Mary's College (Ipswich) and the All Hallows' School, in Brisbane.
