Fright Fest

Fright Fest is an event that takes place at Six Flags parks during the Halloween season. During Fright Fest, the parks are redecorated and some attractions are re-named or re-themed for the event. Also, Halloween-themed shows replace the shows that go on during the normal season.

Along with the re-theming of the parks, each park gets a large number of costumed characters that intend to scare the guests. They can be found in re-themed fitting areas of the park. They come out at Six PM when the park turns into the "Fright By Night" experience.

At some parks during Fright Fest, if guests eat a bug or allow themselves to be locked in a coffin full of insects for a minute, then they get passes to the front of the line of certain attractions.

During this event, Six Flags parks can get very crowded.

Whistles can be obtained to "scare" off the special characters that intend to scare you at some six flags locations.
