Javan rupee

The rupee was the currency of Java until 1816. It was subdivided into 30 "stuiver", each of 4 "duit" ("doit"). It was replaced by the Netherlands Indies gulden.

Copper coins were issued in denominations of 1 duit, ½, 1 and 2 stuiver, with silver ½ and 1 rupee pieces and gold ½ mohur (½ gold rupee) coins.
