Philippa Haywood (born 22 June 1954) is an English actress who trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

Famous for playing the much-put-upon Helen Brittas in the BBC Two comedy series "The Brittas Empire", has an extensive television resume which includes Julie Chadwick (the wife of Martin Chadwick (Peter Davison) in the BBC2 comedy "Fear, Stress & Anger" and the hot-tempered, sex-mad HR boss Joanna Clore in "Green Wing" (for which she took the "best comedy female performance" award at the 2005 Rose d'Or television festival in Lucerne, Switzerland).

With the exception of an episode of "Boon", the first episode of "The Brittas Empire", in which she was credited as 'Phillipa Haywood', and an episode of "She-Wolf of London", she has always been credited on screen as Pippa Haywood. Best known for her comedy roles, she has also done some straight acting roles in her career, including the role of Jenny Thorne in the ITV drama serial "The One Game". She has filmed a guest role in an episode of the 2009 series of "Kingdom". She has also worked in film and theatre. Recent stage credits include: "House and Garden", "Private Lives", "A Midsummer Night's Dream", "The Winter's Tale", "Requiem" and "Landscape with Weapon" at the National Theatre.
