West Sound is a local AM radio station for Ayrshire. Based in Ayr with its AM transmitter in Symington, South Ayrshire and its DAB transmitter in Darvel, East Ayrshire, the station is part of the West Sound Radio Network and the only AM station in the Big City Network.

Currently at the station are Kenny Campbell, Jack Bennie, Craig Johnston, Adam Cromarty, Chris Kane, Peter Lockhart, Ian Young, Kevin Devine, Tommy Truesdale, Karyn McCulloch, Lou Grant, and Joe Campbell.

Alan Toomey is the Programme Controller of Westsound 1035 AM.
