The Bluepoint Institute of Higher Technology Foundation is a non-profit open-source education and development center. It is the first organization in the Philippines to focus on Linux and Open Source training.

PurposeBluepoint exists to enhance the IT skills of Filipinos by providing globally competitive Open Source education.

BusinessBluepoint intends to do this by (1) advocating, (2) educating people in, and (3) developing Open Source software through training courses, seminars, fund-raising events, research, and development.

ValuesBluepoint believes that Open Source provides the greatest degree of freedom in terms of operation as well as development. In general, Open Source software is more cost effective and reliable than proprietary software in the long term.
