description=The medal is circular in form with a star superimposed at the center. Three stars are placed at the lower portion of the medal and written in the upper portion is the phrase "Anti-Dissidence Campaign".
The service ribbon is tinctured with red enamel with three blue stripes, one stripe in the center and the other two at each extreme. A small battle star shall be affixed to the campaign ribbon for personnel's participation in each major battle engagement and announced in General Orders for his entitled to an additional award.
The red color stands for bravery and courage in the face of an armed enemy while the blue stands for nobility and integrity in the performance of duty during the campaign.
