Danyel Cecil Martin (born July 8, 1975 in Chicago, Illinois) is a former American football running back in the NFL. He attended Evanston Township High School and played college football at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He was drafted in the sixth round of the 1999 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. He later started for them, and was then signed on the practice team for the Oakland Raiders. He was later cut and picked up by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, for whom he appeared in one game in 2003. In 2005, he appeared on ComcastSportsnet Philadelphia's Monday Night Live on December 5. He picked the Philadelphia Eagles to beat the Seattle Seahawks 24-17 he supported this by saying "I think the Eagles will win because the Eagles are better." Eagles went on to lose 42-0 to Seattle in an infamous Monday Night Football game coined by many people "The Monday Night Massacre".

He often appears on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom as a studio analyst for their NFL programming.
