Medaforce

The Medaforce is a special power used by those who possess rare medals in the anime series Medabots.
The Medaforce is randomly engaged, giving the Medabot no control over when it is invoked. When the Medabot taps into the power it is able to choose when to unleash it.

Using the Medaforce

Only Medabots that possess a rare medal may invoke the power of the Medaforce, some Medabots that do not possess rare medals may also engage the power when they are extremely angry although there is only one account of this ever happening.When a Medabot taps into the Medaforce it begins to glow, the color the Medabot glows is different for each Medabot. For example, Metabee glows green while Rokusho glows blue.

Effects

The Medaforce acts differently for each medal and is directly related to the skills of the Medabot using it.For example, the Medaforce of the Kabuto medal enables the Medabot to discharge a burst of highly powerful energy through its gun-type parts, while the Medaforce of the Kuwagata medal enables the Medabot to discharge energy through its sword to attack long-range.

Rare Medals

The majority of commercially released medals, in the series, are clones of 'rare medals'. Cloned medals are unable to use the Medaforce.

The Medaforce in Games

In Medabots related games, all Medals are able to use the Medaforce. In the RPGs they must have the "newest version" of the medawatch to do so. The kinds of Medaforce they use depend on the Medal, as wella s the level they are at. The Medaforce in the games is not as potent as it was displayed to be in the anime series and some medals may not cause damage at all, for example the Mermaid Medal being able to heal. However, there are many more applications that the medaforce is able to do; the aforementioned mermaid medal's first medaforce option is unable to do damage, but the second one is able to inflict damage at the cost of some of the armor.
