Indian Creek High School is a public high school in Wintersville, Ohio. In 1993 the Indian Creek Local School District consolidated several schools, including Mingo Jr/Sr High School, to form this school. Their nickname is the Redskins. The school colors are red and gold.

Indian Creek School District's stated vision is to "provide all students with the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills to reach their potential within a secure and positive learning environment to become responsible citizens in an ever-changing society through effective programs and community involvement."[2]



Indian Creek High School employs over 150 teachers employed by the Indian Creek School District. ICHS employs two teachers with doctoral degrees, both of which are in the Ohio High School Teacher Hall of Fame (OHSTHF). The history of Indian Creek dates back when the City of Mingo Junction was consolidated (for tax monies from the Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp.) with Wintersville High School.


Indian Creek competes in the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference. Indian Creek has many athletics in which students may participate including band, cheerleading, football, soccer, volleyball, cross country, golf, basketball, wrestling, baseball, softball, tennis and track.


Indian Creek High School also participates in the Buckeye 8 League.
