KMXA is a Regional Mexican radio station owned by Univision. It broadcasts on 1090 kHz AM. It is licensed to Aurora, Colorado and serves the Denver, Colorado area.

KMXA carries live play-by-play of the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer.

History

The station went on the air as KLSZ on 1984-09-17. On 1985-09-25, the station changed its call sign to KLSC. On 1987-04-01 to KYBG and finally on 1996-06-07 to the current KMXA. Irv Brown was an early host on the station as well.
